Likely an ear infection or severe allery which often plagues various breeds due to how their ears/ear canals are shaped. Don't waste time. Check with the vet to be sure! Besides giving the poor dog relief ASAP, infections like that can get worse quickly & often will show up in the other ear.
My cat had the same and he had ear mites. You will need to get some medicine fom the vet to treat it. The mites are really uncomfortable for your dog and he will be much happier once they're treated.
both my dogs had it. I went to the vet and found it was a fungal infection, The medication drops are not expensive and is doing the job but I have to stay on top of it. One ear is worse than the other.
My dog had the same problem, it was ear mites! The vet cleaned her ears and gave us medicine to use in the ears. It doesn't go away on its own usually.
