I have a Smith Corona Deville 750, (with auto correct). I turned it on and nothing. I replaced the fuse and still nothing. I can't figure out why it's acting up. Any thoughts?

Normally this indicates that the motor or the motor clutch is frozen. You should take this apart and give it a good cleaning and even a small amount of oil to free it up.
The ribbon cassette is not secure in place. Remove ribbon and tighten, by winding it. Make sure you secure it back in place!
You do not say when this was last used or if you have replaced the ribbon lately but sometimes after 'setting up' for a while an older ribbon can cause problems.
Do you have a manual? It seems this model manual is also difficult to find but there are some 'generic' manuals that might work with yours.
I would suggest making sure everything is in your machine properly as just a little off will cause problems. Also, unplug and reset your machine as it can sometimes help.
Here are some links that look promising but you may have to join a club to be able to ask questions. There is also a link to the Smith Corona website but they no longer make typewriters - only ribbons but they might direct you to a good site.
There is also a link to a repair service that has a lot of good information and an email link for questions.
Sears service centers (your zip code) may be able to help you but they may not be open right now.
