I dropped new bar of soap in the toilet and can't get it to flush. What should I do?

You'll need a toilet snake to push this through and break up the bar of soap. Furthermore, you can try using a pair of gloves and stick your hand down in the toilet bowl and try to fish this out. I'm sure it is lodged in the bowl and will be hard to move around. However, the longer the soap sits in the water, it will start to dissolve and make it easier to move.
YOU CAN POUR A 2 LITTER OF COKE A COLA DOWN THERE AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS
You need to call the plumber. same thing happened to me. my son dropped soap bar and flushed it. it got struck in the commode pipe. i tried toiled snake, hot water etc but nothing worked.
You can take a wire hanger if you don't have a snake and try that. I would try a plunger first.
The wire hanger worked!!!
I spent an hour trying to flush it with hot water, when that didnt work I read this comment and got a wire hanger, I pushed it in as far as I can and pulled, the hooked part brought out the soap bar!!!
If you can't get a hold of a snake, you can try dissolving it faster by adding hot water to it here and there.
