My ex wife has SSDI; she is the custodial parent. Will her Social Security insurance cover my kids getting braces and pay 100% of the cost?

If she has SSDI, she probably has Medicare already, or is in the 24-month waiting period. Her cost will be covered if she uses a dentist who accepts Medicare.
No. Unless your wife qualifies for MediCAID MEDICARE will NOT COVER dental. There are a few advantage plans she could sign up for with her MEDICARE plan that will cover very little of needed dental work.
That is not true. Medicare does not cover dental. There are advantage plans that your wife can pay for and ad to her Medicare but they pay very little in Dental.
Dental coverage for Medicare benificiaries is just about non existent. For your wife , there is the Donated Dental Services lifeline, depending on what state you are in. If she qualifies, dentist that donate their services will do the dental work needed but only for your wife.
I don't know that it will cover the kids' braces, though. Call toll free at 1-800-772-1213 and ask them directly. They're very helpful.
I do not believe we can fully answer your question because there are too many details missing. You can contact Social Security:
Generally, children of parents on SSDI (not SSI) receive the same benefits afforded to parents on Medicaid and in most states, some dental care is provided but generally only what is deemed medically necessary. In this light, I do not believe kids braces will be paid for. Sometimes, states also use the amount of support (from other sources) that children receive when applying payment for some services/benefits, so you should check with SS (in your state) to find out what benefits your children will or will not receive.
