When I have those little "crumb" chips left in the bag, I grind them up in my "buzz" blender. Store in a container in the refrigerator, adding more as available. I add these crumbs to my mix a Tbsp. at a time when breading something.
To keep chips crisp and not getting soggy, store in the refrigerator (from Frito-Lay Customer Service).
For "fun" lay a piece of clean plain typing paper on a table or counter top and set a bag of unopened chips on top of it. Leave it overnight, then in the morning remove the bag. What do you see?

What do you do with stale cereal, crackers and chips?
I think it is pretty standard to use crumbs from chips, snacks, etc. for breading or meatloaf, but try taking the little crumbies from potato chips and put them in a bowl, add milk and sugar, and eat them like cereal.
I've thought of a way to get twice as much for my money when using the meat coatings that you "shake" in a plastic bag. I buy the store brand which saves me even more, then I mix each packet with an equal amount of finely crushed potato chips.
