It's fun to try out new recipes with my instant pot and to do something to make vegetables more flavorful.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes
Yield: Serves 6.
Ingredients:
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 16 oz. bag frozen green beans
- 3/4 tsp seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 Tbsp butter
Steps:
- Turn instant pot to saute setting. When hot, spray with cooking spray and add bacon. Saute bacon until crisp.
- Add onion and saute until translucent about 1 minutes. Cancel saute setting and add chicken broth to pot, scraping down bacon drippings for flavor. Add remaining ingredients.
- Pressure cook for 7 minutes. Let pressure drop for 10 minutes before removing lid and serving.
