Stew chicken in crockpot. When done, shred up chicken. Reserve 2 cups of broth for the pastry. Pastry: Combine flour, soda and salt. Make a well. Add melted butter and
reserved 2 cups of broth. Stir just until moistened.
Roll dough out on floured wax paper until thin. Cut into strips. Place on plate to dry at least 1 hour. Heat remaining broth until boiling. Drop pastry in, one at a time. Lower heat, keep stirring so pastry doesn't stick. Lower heat to low to continue cooking. Add shreddred chicken, stir in parsley, salt and pepper to taste. Mix pack of instant chicken gravy with 1 cup water and add to pot.
