How many kilos of spaghetti would you need to make for 300 persons?
This is the website that my friend who caters recommended for helping figure out how to calculate food for a big party (it wasn't a wedding, but she likes this site).

After looking this over and knowing we are "food pushers" (here--take some leftovers home for dinner...eat...eat!) when we did our big party a few years ago, we went 1 1/2 times what they recommended and for us that worked out great! There were some (but not too many) leftovers. To me always better to have more than not enough.
So if I am doing the math right...it is 12 ounces per person to be generous x 300 people = 3600 ounces or 102 kilo....sorry, I have a math injury from high school...I hope I carried my numbers correctly!

How do I calculate the amount of ingredients I will need to accommodate 400 meals of spaghetti sauce, meatballs, and pasta?
Easy-Find regular recipes for spaghetti sauce, meatballs and pasta, then calculate each ingredient needed for one serving in each recipe. The amounts of each ingredient you need for one serving are then simply multiplied by the total servings you need e.g.
