My dog was spayed yesterday and will not eat and drink water. She will not take her medicine. What should I do? Should I take her collar off? Could the collar the Doctor gave her be the reason?

Call the vet if the pup won't eat or drink or take meds after 24 hours. The anesthesia can make her loopy. Have you tried white meat of chicken to tuck the meds in? If you have a plastic syringe you can try putting a few CC's of water in her mouth. Hopefully she will take it. The collar probably has nothing to do with anything. Although no harm taking it off.

How is the pup???
If you are concerned, please call the vet. That is what she or he is there for.
Make her comfortable , and call the vet for help !
The plastic cone collars are hard on a dog and this can cause problems with the dog eating correctly. I saw online a new type of cone collar that are so much better for a dog. Check out some of these they have at PetCo for as low as $15. www.petco.com/
If not you can easily make one for not so much money. Here i a video to teach you how to make one that will help out and make your dog more comfortable. www.youtube.com/
All dogs hate the cone collar and it makes it so hard for them to lay down, sleep, eat and drink. I would check into a different type of collar to use on your dog. I know this really helps and it is better for the dog. All the vet is trying to do is stop them from pulling outt he stitches.
