Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Heat oil over MED heat, in a large stock pot. Cook bacon, crumble, and return to pot. Add diced ham.

  3. Chop onions, carrots, and garlic. Add to pot and cook until onions are translucent.
  4. add onions
     
  5. Put water into pot and add peas. Add oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  6. bring to boil
     
  7. Reduce to simmer and cover. Cook until peas are tender (about 30-45 minutes).
  8. cover with lid

  9. Use a potato masher to mash peas. Use a spoon to stir up mashed peas from bottom of the pot. Enjoy!
