I drink a lot of tea and coffee during the day. To kill a tree for wooden, or waste plastic for stirrers is not on my list of "smart things to do". Neither, is washing spoons all day or wasting space on my tiny "coffee spotted" counters. So I compromised and found a free, washable and reusable solution.
This little lid I no longer need is perfect. It's going to be used till it, or I, fall apart! It's washable and keeps my one spoon, and my counter, clean all day. And, it only takes up a square inch of space. Win Win Win.
N-JOY!

PERFECT!!! I got a household of coffee drinks and I got a few of these lids. Great solution.
Thanks for that. If I can do something for free AND use something I already have I am happy. If i can keep it out of the land fill, bonus!
I use chopsticks as coffee stirrers. I have some plastic ones I was and use over and over but even wood ones from takeout would work
That is a great idea!
I have found unopened boxes of plastic and wood stir sticks at thrift stores. But with plastic being so hard to dispoe of I went away from using things that needed to be made over and again.
