Here is a way to control how much soap comes out of your dish soap container. Get a sturdy spray nozzle from an old bottle and just screw it on. Make the adjustment as to how stong or soft you want the spray to be. You will save soap, plus it will spray out more evenly over dishes.

Ooh! Nice idea. I haven't heard this tip yet. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much and you're welcome. Happy spraying ;)
Great idea, I think we all frequently use too much liquid dish soap. Mine has a pump now, but I think I will get a sprayer soon. Thanks.
Thank you :) It's true the bottles get empty fast otherwise lol. Enjoy !
I think I'll try this, too! Great Idea...I hate wasting dish soap.
I love this idea. Thumbs up!
Thanks Lucy ! :)
Thanks Judy. :) Me too. and less messy ;)
FYI, I used to use the very cheapest dish detergent. Then, a friend suggested I try Dawn, 'cause you only need to use a tiny amount.
I have used an AMWAY spray bottle for that for about 30 years. Still works well. I also use a pump action shampoo dispenser that squirts a fine stream all the way across the sink, depending on how hard I hit the pump top. That one is great for when my hands are soapy or greasy and I don't want to use the sprayer.
The first thing I do when I buy dish soap is to empty half of the bottle and save it into another bottle, then I fill the bottle up again with water. You are on a safer side because it is easier to rinse than the pure product, and it is important for your health to be sure that the product doesn't stay in the dishes. It cleans as well as the pure product and you are saving money.
I tried this with two different nozzles and it didnt work.
I have been doing this for years. I buy Dawn & dilute, use in spray bottle for hands as well as washing a single idea. Living on a limited budget will make you quite resourceful.
