Can someone give some ideas for a St. Patrick's Day float for a Tidy Towns committee?

We got a flat board trailer, put couches, a tv, lamps, keg, all the furnishings of a living room and wore burlap bags and went as the "Irish Couch Potatos" the guys wore green bathrobes, Irish boxer shorts and passed out candy....hilarious.

We are a large Irish community living in Costa Blanca Spain and this will be our 3rd parade. We are looking for ideas for a simple float maybe where we can combine both countries.
