My little nieces and nephews adore ninjas, so I thought we could make some out of eggs for Easter this year. These ninjas wear coloured belts made of ribbon, and have little swords on their backs that are made of toothpicks. The swords double up as a way to keep the ninjas standing up without any other support!
Supplies:
- hardboiled eggs
- pencil
- black acrylic paint
- toothpicks
- hot glue gun
- coloured ribbon
- black marker
Steps:
- Draw an oval shape on the front upper middle portion of the egg.
- Paint everything but the oval black.
- Allow to dry for at least an hour.
- Hot glue an X with 2 toothpicks on the backside of the egg.
- Add a tiny bead of hot glue on top of the X to keep them in place.
- Wrap a piece of ribbon horizontally around the egg, under the unmasked face.
- Draw on eyes and eyebrows.
- Ninjas will stand up with the help of their swords!
