I am looking into starting a business selling simmering granules. Can anyone give me any tips on things I need to know and do? I know how to make the granules, it's all the other things I need to do, that I need help with.

Are you in the US? If so, start with your small business development center.
Do not follow any guidance from the pitch vultures on Facebook or most social media sites. In this time of crisis, they are out in full force. Shut them off!!!!
The only legit way to learn to start a business is either the Sbdc or a community college.
They will get you all of the resources you will need. Be sure to talk to your lawyer and tax person also. Sadly, this is a really bad time to be starting a business for a luxury item so they can help you get prepared and protected.

I am a small business owner and I suggest going through a government entity to help get everything you need. Permits, loans, legal guidance, etc are critical to success.
