Sticky Tape Christmas Bulb

The completed Christmas bulb
The simplest sticky tape is enough to decorate your Christmas tree. I figured out how to make a Christmas bulb out of transparent duct tape only using expired eyeshadow. Instead of eyeshadow, you can use any powder (of course, a powder that is safe for health), for example flour. So it will cost you almost nothing.

Instead of eyeshadow, you can use any powder (of course, a powder that is safe for health), for example flour. So it will cost you almost nothing.

Total Time: 30 Minutes

Supplies:

  • Transparent sticky tape
  • Ocean ball (or a ball whose surface can be squeezed a little)
  • Eyeshadow (Can be expired)
  • Scissors
  • Ribbon or string or something to hang the bulb
  • Piece of garland
  • Brush

Steps:

  1. Apply some eyeshadow to the surface of one of the ball's halves.
  2. Applying eyeshadow to the ball

  3. Cut a strip of tape, then cut off squares of tape and overlap them on the shadowy surface.
  4. Adding tape to the shadowed part of the ball

  5. Repeat the previous steps until you have covered one of the halves of the ball. Stick the tape exactly to the middle of the ball, try to keep the edge even.
  6. Half the ball is covered with eyeshadow and tape

  7. Press in the ball gently and cover the sticky part of the tape well with more eyeshadow. In the area covered with eyeshadow, the tape will stop sticking to the ball. You need to cover the entire inner surface of the half of the ball with tape. Carefully peel the half of the tape bulb off the ball.
  8. Adding eyeshadow to the tape

  9. Repeat the previous step and make the other half.
  10. Two decorated hemispheres

  11. Tie a ribbon to a piece of garland so that you get a loop for hanging the bulb.
  12. Garland to use as filling

  13. Now you need to connect the halves of the Christmas bulb. Insert the garland into one of the halves. Connect the edges of the halves of the bulb with squares of the sticky tape so that the loop for hanging the bulb remains outside. Using the brush, smooth out the edges of the bulb - insert the brush into the bulb through the hole (where the hanging loop is).
  14. Garland inside a hemisphere

Closing up the ball around the garland
