This is a fun craft for the garden, made from the garden! I collected the roundest stones I could find in my backyard, painted them to look like ladybugs, then placed them all around the garden. Such a fun pop of colour! This is a great all-ages craft.

This is so cute! I am going to have to make garden stone ornaments. :) I love it!!!
Thanks, Michelle! They dry really quickly, too, so you can make loads fast :)
Oh Boy! Unique "cheap" special day gifts!!
Thanks - I can hear the ohs and awes already..
I love the ohs and awes! This is super super cheap.. I love stone art :)
Those are cute! I would enjoy making those too. :)
That's just as cute as can be, and the display is just precious. :)
Thanks so much, both of you :) It was a great stress relief to paint them, truly. I put them in my friend's planter without telling her and when she walked by them, she screamed with joy!
I can sure imagine your friend seeing those adorable Ladybugs in her planter, they're so darn cute! :)
I think they'd look absolutely adorable too in indoor plant pots.
Next time we're out on one of our picnic's or camp trips, I'm going to be on the search for smooth round rocks like that that you've used.
I'll be like Lucy in the movie, *The Long Long Trailer* - but much smaller ones than she loaded up. hehehe
I just love these. :)
Hahaha cute imagery as Lucy!
I have been so lucky! I found a bag of just the right size stones in a local thrift store for $1 and I would have passed it by if I had not seen your post. Now I'm waiting for just the right day to do um up.
Fantastic!!!!!!!! What a steal, and all the right size. Enjoy making these! :)
