My sanitary pads were stored under the sink and there was a leak causing a mildew smell. Is if safe to wear them even though they didn't get wet, but smell like mildew?

Mold spores are probably in them. I would toss them.
I would say no, please don't wear them. You are risking your own health for something that is completely avoidable. Mold/mildew smell indicates possible spores/fungus and you just don't want that near your vaginal area.
Oh no! Those are so expensive. That is terrible.
You don't want to risk putting something that could have mold or mildew any where new sensitive skin.
Better safe than sorry.
So sad to hear you had this issue. Maybe keep them in a place not near water when you replace the bad ones. Take care!
Hi,
I would absolutely not wear them. There could be mold, which you cannot see or smell on the pads. This could cause problems for you, that would cost more at the doctor's office than buying new product. I am sorry they were ruined though. Water can destroy items and ruin them, I have had many items ruined this way.
Blessings,
---Robyn
