If you are making homemade soy milk it will only last a few days stored in your refrigerator because there are no preservatives added to the milk. Storing soy milk is like any other milk that is stored. You need to take precautions when the milk is opened and store it in the refrigerator. Here is a really good article about homemade and store boughten soy milk. I think it would be a good idea to read the full article to learn a bit more about homemade soy milk and some ways that might help you to make it last a bit longer. www.doesitgobad.com/.../

I believe you may be thinking about the soy (and other types) milk that you can purchase that is in a sealed container and does not have to be refrigerated until opened.

These containers are factory sealed with special wax and heated to form a solid seal and you cannot even come close to sealing like this at home.
I would say to refrigerate immediately and use within a few days.
This site states 3-5 days in sealed container in refrigerator.

Once opened it is not advised to leave out . These are natural ingredients , and therefore will not hold up like ones from the store. And if this is made natural it will require refrigeration. Here is more info on this from a health stand point- healthclover.com/.../

This must be refrigerated or it can grow bacteria quickly.

It can be frozen also, but then it gets a little wonky in texture for drinking, but works fine in recipes.

Homemade soy milk is usually stored in the fridge so it can last longer. If you don't like cold soy milk you can always reheat it?
