I would wait at least 2 weeks before you do another chemical treatment on your hair.
If your hair and scalp are in good condition, it's safe to relax the perm now, assuming you will use a water diluted solution of the same perm used to curl the hair, you should do a strand test first.
Removing too much curl and leaving the hair completely straight is not a good idea as most all hair has at least a slight bend to it. A strand test is your best bet.
