Strawberry Jello Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. strawberry gelatin
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup small curd cottage cheese

Directions

Combine gelatin and pineapple in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring to prevent sticking. Cool. Fold in whipped cream and cottage cheese. Refrigerate two to three hours or until firm.

Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Let start to jell. Add strawberries, lemon juice and pineapple.

Dissolve jello in water. Add partially frozen strawberries, bananas, nuts, pineapple. Pour half in 13x9 inch pan. Let set. Top with sour cream and other half of jello mixture. Chill.

Put pretzels in 9x13 inch pan. Melt butter and pour over top. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees F. Cool. Cream together cream cheese, sugar, Dream Whip. Pour over cooled pretzels and refrigerate.
