Bronze Post Medal for All Time! 140 Posts This recipe is like a pocket stuffed pizza, but better! You can change up the meats in this recipe or make it vegan also. It's great for lunch, dinner, and box meals. It is often a winner at football get togethers at home. The dough for this recipe will make 3 strombolis. You can cut into 1/3 and freeze the rest for up to a month, or put in your refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Ingredients:
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp salt
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 1/2 cup warm water (bread dough)
- Filling
- 1/2 lb ham
- 3 oz. pepperoni
- 2 cups mozzarella grated cheese
- 1/4 cup spicy mustard
- 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
Steps:
- For dough, mix all dry ingredients and garlic together.
- Add olive oil and warm water. Stir until it forms a ball. Remove from bowl. Add a little more flour on a flat surface to work air into the dough by folding and rolling with your hands.
- Form a large ball. Put back into a large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap, and let sit for 1 to 2 hours until it rises 1/3 in size.
- Preheat oven at 425 degrees F. Divide dough into thirds for stromboli. Roll out to approx. 12 in. around.
- Spread on mustard almost to the edge.
- Add sliced deli ham and pepperoni. Top with cheese. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Take your dough and fold bottoms inward, than sides folded over to close.
- Bake until brown, approx 20 min.
