This is a free and fun craft/experiment that my toddler son really enjoyed! He made an experiment out of this by seeing how many coins it takes for the submarine to sink (it was a trial and error experiment).
Supplies:
- plastic egg
- bowl and water
- pipe cleaner
- assorted coins
- circle stickers
- scissors
- Sharpie
Steps:
- Place the amount of coins inside the egg that your child thinks will be enough to sink the submarine.
- Decorate your egg with circle dots and go around the dots with a Sharpie pen.
- Cut a piece of pipe cleaner and bend for the periscope. Then hot glue to top of the egg.
- You are ready to drop the submarine into a bowl of water. The experiment is to see how many coins it'll take for the submarine to sink.
