Someone requested what to use as a heavy cream substitute so thought maybe I should share the tip with everyone.
Take 2 large ripe bananas (sliced), 3 tsp. sugar and 2 egg whites. 'Whip' these ingredients together. You can add extract flavorings, too.

I have read in old cookbooks that the following works. Canned Evaporated milk, chilled will whip just like whipping cream. I have never tried it though.

I used to use canned Carnation evaporated milk and whipp it. I haven't tried it in years so don't know if it will work now or not. But it whipped just like heavy cream.
