Succulent Driftwood Centerpiece

Total Time: 1 hr

Supplies:

• driftwood
• sphagnum moss
• water
• bucket
• fishing line, I used Trilene brand
• chopstick
• scissors
• succulents/airplants
• hot glue

Steps:

1. Soak some moss in water for 15-30 minutes before using.

 
2. Squeeze water out of moss and stuff into the crevices of the driftwood.

 
3. Wrap fishing line around wood several times securing the moss into place.

 

 

 
4. Using a chopstick poke holes into the moss so you can plant the succulents or airplants into your driftwood.

5. For some succulents you may have to use hot glue to have them stay in place.

 

 
6. You're ready to display your centerpiece indoors, outdoors, or give as a gift!

Thank you! Completed ones online sell for quite expensive, so glad I could make it for literally free since I had all the supplies and found the driftwood along the beach!
