This has been a strange and wonderful year for plants on our property. This lovely sunflower bloomed at our lamp post then continued to grow into this grand specimen that greets us at our back door every day. It was even more beautiful in the evening with the light highlighting it!

What a beautiful display to have on your front lawn or driveway. I just love this. I adore sunflowers. They are mystical in how they grow so tall and large. And such a great place to show them off beautifully at your light post, Great idea!!

Thanks Jackie. I usually get them via my bird friends by them dropping the seeds while feeding them around the house and this flower really took off taller than any previously!
