Does anyone have ideas on making sunflowers from things found at a thrift shop or maybe things found laying around the house? I'd rather use inexpensive ways rather than expensive ones because I'm on a budget and can't afford to buy them new.

I have been doing great sewing for my niece's little baby girl due this week. But I would like someone to give me easy instructions to make one of those cute baby girl hats.
I am thinking of the ones that have a cute silk sunflower in the center. If you have a photo to accompany the instructions that would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Quick and easy way to make attractive tie-backs to suit the decor in any room. Cut two strips of felt, each measuring 1 1/2 x 24 inches. You can also use two 1 1/2 inches wide ribbon strips cut to 24 inches.
This fun wall decor project is easily done with your children. A painted paper bowl has paper petals attached. The center can have sunflower seeds glued in place to finish the theme. The instructions and photos can be seen below.
This pretty crochet sunflower photo frame is the perfect addition to the home decor for lovers of these bright, happy, yellow flowers. If you or someone you know crochets this could be your next project.
