Mix ingredients together and make into small balls and brown in 2 Tbsp. shortening. Remove meat, and add 1 cup boiling water to meat drippings. Mix 1 Tbsp. flour with 2 Tbsp. cold water; add to the boiling water for gravy. Add 2 bay leaves and the browned meatballs to this gravy. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Add more water, if needed.
