My Swifter WetJet refill will not lock in place. I hold the button and push it down, but as soon as I release the button it pops out and doesn't spray. Do I need to replace it with a new one?

It sounds like the refill you have purchased could be bad and the locking mechanism on the mop is not locking this bottle in place. I would take it back to the store and ask for a new one.
Has this happened before? Or you just purchased and trying to put it together. If it's new, take it back for an exchange you could have gotten a bad one.
The spray isnt working. I have put new batteries in again and it still wont work! I put new bottles in and it still wont spray.
I would call the company and ask them. 1-866-411-1753
Contact company, they may also help with new purchase!
Im going to be completely honest with you- Im not sure if its a defective product or what but I had the same problem. I had an old bottle that was working perfectly fine and a brand new bottle that just would not click into place. I screwed the purple caps off of both the new and old refill bottle and put the new cleaning solution into the old refill bottle and put the old lid back onto the old refill bottle.
