This project makes a handy addition to the kitchen if you are following a recipe from the internet while cooking or it can be used anytime you need to prop up the iPad while you are doing something.
Total Time: 1 hour
Yield: 1
Supplies:
- 1 piece of wood measuring 8 1/2 x 22 inches
- 1 table saw
- 1 scroll saw
Steps:
- First, cut the wood into two pieces: 14 inch (base) and 8 inch (support) using table saw.
- Measure and cut the notch, using the scroll saw, in the base 2 1/2 inches from bottom edge using the thickness of the board as a guide. This example is 1/2 inch thick but any thickness will do.
- Measure and cut the notch in the (support) 1 3/4 inches from the top edge using scroll saw, so that the (support) board can interlock with the bottom of the (base) board.
- Push the support into the base board and make any necessary adjustments such as cutting notch deeper if necessary.
