I have a Tang 15 needle embroidery machine. I have been waiting 9 months for a mechanic to fix it. It sews approximately 30 stitches then stops. I've checked threading and the bobbin, but no luck. The mechanic has my book.

The company has a Facebook page. Maybe you can ask for guidance there:
This is such a niche machine that I doubt most "lay people" will be able to help you. I do hope your service person gets back to you soon. Have you asked for your manual back?
Post back with an update.
I dont see a company website. I did find this Facebook group. m.facebook.com/
This is an elaborate machine (expensive) and I would urge you to go and pick up your machine and manual as soon as possible.
Nine months is too long to wait for someone to repair your machine.
This is a foreign made machine and not too many domestic machines were ever sold as these are usually sold in a large quantity to a business making products to sell (products usually described as 'handmade').
I really doubt that you will be able to receive any help from companies but you might find someone on one of these forums.
You should pick up your machine soon.
Take pictures and ask your question on all forums.
