This little piece will fit in perfectly with the glass sculpture flowers I made earlier this summer.
Total Time: 1 hour
Yield: 1
Supplies:
- an old lamp with extended arm
- 1 teapot
- 1 larger plate
- 1 tea cup
- 1 smaller plate
- drill bit for drilling glass
- drill
- long bolts and nuts
Steps:
- Remove wiring parts from an old lamp. Drill holes into the two plates, the teapot, and the teacup using a drill and drill bit for drilling glass.
- Attach the teacup to the top of the lamp, using a nut and bolt. Attach the teapot at an angle to the top of the extended arm of the lamp, using a nut and bolt.
- Add a piece of chain or beads to the spout of the teapot as if "pouring" water into the teacup. Let the birds enjoy a drink or bath from the teacup or sprinkle some bird seed onto the plate to feed them. I think this will fit right in with my glass flower garden!

This is adorable, but have you actually SEEN any birds use it for bathing? I hope so. It's a cute idea!
