So, my daughter's birthday is in November, like late November. She wants to have a birthday party with about 10 friends, but doesn't know what to do. No pool parties or parties at the house or anything that cost too much money since it is close to Christmas time. But also nothing babyish because she is a teenager. Any suggestions?

I would do a charity party. They can wrap up toys for needy or hospitalized children or collect baskets of food for the needy.
How about a cooking party? If you have ever watched the TV shows like Iron Chef or Chopped these are fun parties for a group that size!
Personally I think Chopped is fun because they use wacky ingredients to make the meals. Check one out if you haven't seen it: www.foodnetwork.com/
You could have 5 people compete, 5 people be judges, then everyone eat the food and help clean up!
Being that the food is part of the fun, it keeps the costs down. You could use fun ingredients like potato chips or pretzels or ice cream or cake in your "basket".
May your daughter have a blessed birthday!!
Simple spa party. Have everyone bring nail polish bottles and hair products, then have manis and pedis, then have some movies on with pizza and cake at the ready.
