I'm new at fixing and selling vintage furniture. How much would vintage dressing vanities go for and how can I sell things that buyers would pick up locally?
Thank you in advance to any tips or advice you may have.

To make a decent profit you must make 2-4 times your cost of goods sold. You can sell on Craigslist or the Facebook Marketplace.
It will probably be difficult to sell furniture that is not in good to excellent condition as your market for damaged furniture will be limited to someone interested in a real bargain so they can "redo" it to their taste.
If you are going to redo some of your damaged furniture then it would be best to spend some time getting ideas off the Internet.
You can start out small while you learn the techniques of finishing and try your hand at different styles.
Once you redo a piece put it up on Craigslist, USA4Sale or other sites where you can list it as "pick up only".
You'll soon learn what sells best in your area.
Here is one site to get you started.
