Diamond Post Medal for All Time! 1,298 Posts Here is an easy to make and toddler/child safe felt ball necklace for you or your toddler to wear. Or a mommy/me matching necklace.
This necklace is for my little toddler who loves wearing necklaces. I bought a large bag of felt balls on Amazon and will be making more necklaces with different color balls.
Total Time: 20-30 minutes
Yield: 1 necklace
Supplies:
- 2 safety clasps
- felt balls
- 24" Bernat Maker Home Dec yarn
- 1 needle
- any nail/house hold tools
Steps:
- Cut your desired yarn length for your necklace. I cut mine to be 24".
- At one end of your yarn tie a knot and slide your safely clasp on.
- On the other yarn end, slide on your needle.
- To get the felt balls on, you need to poke the ball with the needle to start the hole. Then, use any household tools you have to stab a bigger hole, or use a big nail.
- Once you have accomplished making the hole large enough to thread on the yarn, do so and repeat. I used 4 felt balls.
- Knot on the other clasp and now the necklace is complete.
