Yield: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 tofu - firm
- 10 garlic cloves
- 1/2 red onion
- 1/2 cup Hoisin sauce
- 4 green onions
- 4 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1.5 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 handful spinach
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
Steps:
- Prep ingredients - cube tofu, mince garlic, slice onions, and chop green onions.
- Make tofu marinate - combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and pepper flakes.
- Toss tofu with marinate and allow to marinate for 20 minutes.
- Over medium high heat, sauté onions.
- Add olive oil to pan and cook tofu.
- Add a handful of spinach and cook until ready. Turn off heat and garnish with green onions.
