Is My Tongue Piercing Infected? The bottom of my tongue near the piercing hurts every time I eat. I've had it for a year now so you'd think the pain would be gone?

This is not normal. You may have irritation or an infection. See a doctor.

Please check with your dentist or doctor on this. Pain is NOT normal and if is affecting how you eat, that is not good.

You need to get to a doctor and have that removed. This is not a good sign and it should never look that red under your tongue. I would go to the doctor immediately and have it removed.
