I dyed my hair today and it turned out really bright red like Ariel the little mermaid. It is now red from being blonde. How do I darken up the red so it is not so bright?

Pick up a semi permanent dye one shade darker than the one you want and try that.
I am always nervous about double dyeing. You may want to have a salon fix so you don't totally fry your hair.
I used some Dawn dish detergent to take out some color one time.
