I got my top denture in May. Now it is too wide and cutting into my cheek. Is there anyway I can fix this myself? I can't afford to go have it relined or get a new set at the moment and my jaw is so sore I can't put my dentures in.

This is not fixable by yourself. Please go to the denturist that made your teeth for you in the first place. The denturist that made my mother's teeth does this sort of fitting work for no charge - it is included in the price he charged for the original partial plate. If you cannot wear your teeth, anything you have spent on them is money down the drain, so you must go get them refitted. It is perfectly normal for your gums and jaw to have shrunk and for your teeth to need refitting. It is to be expected.
Do NOT delay, Go back to the dentist you got them from. They will fix them, and they should not charge you. If they do, seek advice from a lawyer. GG Vi
