In a small bath, we have white granite with beige and grey veins, white and beige floor tile with a little grey movement and white cabinets with modern brushed hardware. We'd like to paint the walls light purple with a lighter purple above the chair rail. What color towels and shower curtain should we use?

Silver or red accessories would compliment the purple color.
As per the universal color wheel, a pale or even a sunny yellow would be a nice complimentary color to purple.
Towels white as that goes with everything especially if you decide to change the purple color. You could go with purple curtain though.
I think a light lavendar or purple would be beautiful.
Go BOLD! Use black towels and a gray/black shower curtain with undertones of a tertiary color like grayish blue.
I would use white towels as they seem to go with everything. then if you decide to change the paint or tile color, the towels willstill match, and white always looks so crisp and clean.
