We put Sevin dust on our 6 month old puppy this morning, but my daughter loves to be around him. Can she get sick from being around him?

Both humans and pets should not be exposed to Sevin!!!
From SF Gate-homeguides.sfgate.com/
In the household, carbaryl (Sevin) can prove toxic to pets and humans alike. Cats are more sensitive than dogs in most cases. Your pets may exhibit behavioral changes, excessive tearing, tremors, vomiting and diarrhea, among other symptoms. Severe exposure may lead to paralysis and death. Headache, muscle weakness, sweating and stomach cramps are symptoms of exposure in humans. Humans with severe carbaryl poisoning may experience convulsions, coma or death. The EPA also considers carbaryl to be a potential carcinogen due to the increase in tumors in exposed laboratory mice. Carbaryl is dangerous to humans when ingested, skin contact or inhalation.
