We recently got some new neighbors who do not speak any English and I do not speak Spanish. I wanted to explain to them that during the summer after a heavy rain, there have been sightings of copperhead snakes and that their backyard always floods out.
I was concerned for their toddler daughter and outside dog. Last summer, their neighbor's dog almost died after being bitten and one other dog got bitten as well.
After trying to find anyone who could translate I decided to Google for English/Spanish Translations. I came across:
I typed in the information that I wanted to share with them. Sure enough, it did translate my message to Spanish for them and they now are aware of the possibility of the snakes.
Below is the translation for what I had written above. I am relieved to know that I do have a way of communication for neighborhood information or just being neighborly.
