Transporting Food Safely

Diamond Post Medal for All Time! 1,298 Posts

A recycled cardboard box. It's the holiday season! A lot of us are probably doing some cooking and then transporting the foods to our family or friends homes.

An easy method I use is to save 24 pack water bottle packaging (or any cardboard packaging) like pictured. I cut off the top of the plastic area leaving some around the sides as a barrier, then I place my pot or as shown instant pot. It'll keep the instant pot in place. And if any spills were to happen it'll be inside the cardboard box.

Notes:

  • Do carry from the bottom.

  • You may have to use different size boxes depending on your pot size.
