I am looking for a home remedy for baby kittens with their eyes stuck shut from discharge.

kittens? As in more than one? That means most likely it is an infection. You can try using saline drops but to prevent spreading infection, each kitten would have to have their own bottle. You could try wetting gauze and lightly cleaning their eyes with it. Most likely they will need antibiotic drops from the vet.
If a warm wet (water) wash cloth compress will not loosen the eye crust, do not try any solvents and take them to the vet.
Use a cotton ball and warm water only. Contact your vet. More than one kitten has this, and you don't want this to spread to the entire litter.
Do get your kittens to a Vet. There is an eye infection they get that can cause blindness in a very short period of time. It is very common in young kittens. It is easy to treat, but really nasty if you dont get to it in time.
