Treating Skunk Breath

Recently one of my dogs got sprayed in her face by a skunk. Her breath was horrible, even after we repeatedly rinsed her mouth and face. I found that after the smell on her fur faded, her breath still held the smell of skunk. I tried giving her breath treats and nothing helped. Finally, I discovered that after feeding her raw carrots and potato chunks, the smell disappeared.
