My dog has had this bubble on this head for about two weeks. It was first a scratch from a tree that scabbed and healed over like usual, but a week after it healed a small bubble formed and now it's been this size for about 2 weeks. It does not hurt him nor bug him, but I am hoping I can do it at home as the vet will probably drain it and bill me over $100 just to be there for ten minutes. Has anyone experienced the same thing?

If you have a good relationship with the vet, try to send a clearer photo to him or her and ask. I say this because there are times our vet says we can take care of it (and gives us the how to) and there are times when she says bring the fur boy in.
We have a long established relationship with this gal and she knows we can't always afford to bring him in, so she is good about giving info via message when it is something simple.
Just like my own skin, I am not going to risk something with my fur kid if I don't get a real medical opinion. Sadly I learned this lesson the hard way about 12 years ago with my own skin thing that I didn't get medical advise on and took the advice of a friend on what to do. I landed in the hospital and had to have it surgically corrected because of the raging infection that set in. That is a terrible way to learn never, ever, ever, take friend or crowd sourced medical (or vet) advice. Just too dangerous.
Post back what the vet says!! Healing prayers for your pup!!
I dont think you have a choice but to make an appointment with the vet. They do not want to take responsibility for a misdiagnosis based on a picture.
I have experienced the same thing and I think it is a cyst. Here is my previous question and what I found out.

I would probably wait and talk to the vet during your next visit. They will want to do a biopsy to make sure it isn't dangerous. As long as it doesn't seem to bother your dog and doesn't get any bigger or look red or infected, you can probably ignore it. But definitely ask a professional as soon as you can, just in case.
We have not treated our dog's cyst because she is old (over 10) and she cannot be put under because of a heart murmur. Plus, it sounds like they often come back, even after removal.
Good luck and let us know how it turns out or if you find out anything else.
I had both and cat and a dog develop growths/cysts like this. First the cat developed one on her eyelid and I had the vet remove it. Then she got one, right on top of her head. I drained it myself a few times, but it would fill up again.
Finally, I tied a thread around it at the base after I drained it. It got pretty gross looking, but one day it fell off and never returned.
With the dog, he had what looked like a big skin tag on top of his head. I did the same with the thread and it fell off too. I told my brother-in-law, who is a veterinarian what I'd done, and he didn't have any problems with it. It never came back either.
