Is it safe to use canned milk with warm water to wash a kitten's eyes out?

Just a cloth dipped in warm water and wiped gently will help but not cure the problem. There is a lot of differences of opinion about treating runny eyes but just warm water will help the kitten and you feel better.
Here are a couple of links that give some suggestions but if you are going to take your kitten for their health check-up (shots, etc) maybe this would be a good time to pay that visit to the vet.
This question has been asked numerous times on ThriftyFun so maybe reading some of the previous answers will help. There is also a link to a site that has several suggestions but if it does not look serious, it will probably go away in a few days. If it does not, think about that visit to the vet.

I would not use canned milk mixed with water to wash your kittens eyes. Your kitten might have an infection in their eyes. I think it would be best to see a vet and get the proper eye medication for your kitten.
Eye problems can develop quickly. I would contact the vet
NO. It contains preservatives and other things not meant to be in the eye. Take her to the vet.
Do not use any thing but warm water and a soft cloth. Check with a vet to make sure it is not an eye infection.
