Ladybugs do not bite. If you are bitten, you need to figure out what it was, but I assure you, it was not a ladybug. However, I would treat it like any bug bite. Put on an itch remedy that works for you, if it is itchy.
You don't need to do anything. The bite hurts, but once you remove the insect, nothing more needs to be done. Most likely, you won't even be able to see a mark or anything from the bite.
WRONG. Not only do Asian ladybugs bite ,some people are allergic to the bite. One bit me. I went to the dr after a few days with swollen glands, a horrible rash all over my neck and face and pain along with itching. After some research the dr gave me an antibiotic and prednisone. The bite got better, I felt better, no more coughing, headaches, shortness of breath and tiredness.
