I have a Pug and it is 40 days old. Two days after getting it we found out it has parvo. The doctor says it is too small not even 40 days old. The person who who sold it to us told us that it is 40 days old. The doctor says the chances are only 50-50 and the treatment is too expensive. Is it okay to continue with the treatment?

If you have the means, continue the treatment. I would contact the seller of the dog. He or she sold you a sick dog and should be responsible for all or part of the treatment.
Prayers for the pup! 50/50 is even odds and I always bet on life...I would continue treatment and follow the vet's directions to a T. Keep the pup surrounded by positive thoughts and prayer. Any reputable breeder should stand by their pups and help pay or totally pay for care.
I dont see any reason why you shouldnt treat your puppy unless it gets to the point that it is really suffering. Dogs can get very sick with parvo and you just have to evaluate it on a case by case basis. Because of his age he has a lower chance of surviving but he does have a a chance. I would take it.
