Troubleshooting Electrical Circuit Problems?

Last night my dryer and stove stopped working. Today I replaced both breakers and there was no change. I need to know what else I can do to fix this issue. I know it would be better to call someone, but I don't have money to do that. So any help I can get is much appreciated.

Is it possible it is just bad luck and both broke the same day?

Did you plug other things into the plugs and did they work?

I never advise people to mess with electricity as we had two houses burn down in my town from diy electrical projects. Safely first!!!

You can see if the electrican will work on a payment plan.

Prayers for an easy solution!

It seems more than coincidental that both major appliances stopped working at the same time. Call the electric company. Maybe the portion of the line that goes to your breaker is bad.
